I have officially started CGA!  This will be the blog site that I will use for the foreseeable future.  Thank you all so much for all your support and for being patient with me while I have tried figure this blogging thing out.  This time around they are requiring me to blog more regularly.  I'm not too keen on it but it certainly does help me quite a bit in a couple different ways.  One! It helps me process things that I have experienced and put it into words! Two! we get to take this journey together!  So I will make my best effort to blog at least couple times a month maybe more depending what the Lord has shared with me. and what He is doing.

So the BIG questions you have now Are probably "what is CGA?"  "What will you be doing?" and "Why are you there?"  So glad you asked! let me explain!!

CGA stands for The Center For Global Action.  It started as a "year two" World Race Alumni program for racers who are looking to further pursue their calling in the kingdom.  Since its creation a few years ago, CGA has evolved into a program that puts more emphasis on equipping young leaders to lead and disciple others wherever they are.  Full details can be found in the CGA link on this blog page.

Our days here are very much like school.  We will have class from 9 a.m. to 5p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays will Be from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. with worship before class at 9 a.m., and Wednesdays and Fridays will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  During class we will be studying scripture and scripture memorization hearing teach from our leadership staff here at A.I.M.  Wednesday and Friday  will be our track focus days where we will learn from our track leaders.  We have been Given our own disciplers who will pour into us and mentor us for the whole 8 months.  We will have part-time jobs as part of our outreach work, being Christ in the Gainesville Community with the intention of making our own disciples pour out into them while our disciplers pour into us.  Finally at the end of the program we will be taking a Trip to Morocco to put our everything we've gained from CGA into practice.  I'm excited to be here and get started even though I never thought I would be here.

I stated in my previous blogs how God had revealed to me that I wasn't ready to lead a World Race squad. That i needed to be equipped. That CGA would help me accomplish this.  But I had no idea just how much I how much equipping I needed. In the few class sessions we've had i have seen so much in me that I need to work out with the Lord.  In particular Support-raising needs.  I can not complete this journey on my own.  The Lord is with me and I would like to invite you all to join me in this new season.

I will tell you more in my next blog.

peace and blessings.
